Hopefully this will help anyone who is looking for a collection of overlays (like I am!) who might want to either manually integrate them or use a utility to automate the process. That said, I'm loving the look of the custom ones from orionsangel below. I'll probably use it to see how best to start applying the bezels - the easiest option looks to be the Bezel Project which is bundled with RetroPie. So to try and review the options I made this shortlist. The libretro core provides wide compatibility with platforms. It is the follow-up of FinalBurn and FinalBurn Alpha emulators. Unlike MAME its more focused on playability and advanced features than preservation. I found the overlays again, but I can't find the. FinalBurn Neo (also referred to as FBNeo or FBN) is a multi-system emulator (Arcade, consoles and computers) under active development. It looks like there are a few projects out there, and certainly lots and lots of contributions of new bezels/overlays. Before I lost my hard drives and all their data a few days ago, I used to have retroarch set up with John Merrit's arcade overlays and Mame config files for each one, so when the appropriate game was picked it would automatically load the right overlay. I used to use a basic tool I wrote a few years ago 'rp-video-manager' but I'm thinking there are probably better ways to do it now, plus a lot more bezels available out there. I was just looking to start a more comprehensive way to apply a lot more bezels/overlays to the games I have and was wondering what sort of options there are.
